On the 26th of January 2019 local Club Pyramid Power had the unimaginable happen, their club was vandalized and a fire tore through their facilities completely gutting the building. This was a devastating blow to their small club who do so much for the Gordonvale and Yarrabah Community.
As a football community, we have joined forces to hold a Junior Football Carnival, Sunday 31st March at Watsons Oval, Manunda and raise some much-needed funds to help the Club to help them reestablish once again. All Clubs with teams aged U8 to U16 will participate including Pyramid Power.
The day will be jam packed with junior footy with over 1400 players participating, entertainment, kids’ zone, refreshments, door prizes and raffles.
We are looking for donations for a monster raffle we are also looking for entertainment and activations from businesses that would like to be part of the day in our Kids Zone.
