POLICIES, RULES AND PROCEDURES
ABOUT THE POLICIES, RULES AND PROCEDURES SECTION
AFL Cairns & AFL Cairns Juniors policies, rules and procedures are aligned to the AFL Queensland policies, rules and regulations. Where the AFL Queensland policies, rules and procedures are silent, then, at the discretion of AFL Cairns, the AFL policies, rules and regulations apply.
AFL Cairns & AFL Cairns Juniors policies operate in accordance with the AFL Queensland policies, rules and procedures, except in situations where local AFL Cairns or AFL Cairns Junior By-Laws take precedence over AFL Queensland policies, rules and procedures.
In situations where local affiliated League By-laws are silent, then, at the discretion of the League, AFL Queensland policies, rules and procedures apply.
To maintain the integrity of the game at all times the policies, rules and procedures are reviewed annually in consultation with stakeholders and in keeping with changes to the expectations of the AFL and broader community.
