AFL Cairns will stream more Women’s games and provide more in-depth statistics in 2023 as part of new filming and coding partnership agreements.

AFL Cairns is excited to extend its long relationship with Rapid Spin Video, who will film all games to be broadcast live on Cluch TV. All Men’s Senior Home & Away Season and Finals matches will again be available to stream live, as well as all Development (previously Reserves) Finals, and all AFL Cairns Junior Grand Finals for competitive age groups. All representative games will also be filmed and live streamed via Cluch TV.

Excitingly, the new deal includes 24 Women’s Home & Away Season games, plus all finals will be filmed and streamed live. This figure is up from 10 Home & Away games in 2022 and 3 in 2021 and represents 50% of all AFL Cairns Womens Home & Away matches. AFL Cairns is dedicated to growing and developing Women’s Football, and this significant increase in streamed games is another example of our continuing commitment.

All streamed games (including Women’s) will receive statistics reports and match coding through AFL Cairns’ new statistics partner, iSports Solutions.

Statistics will be more detailed in 2023, including the addition of statistics for disposal efficiency percentage, contested/uncontested possessions and inside 50’s. Running totals for the season will also be provided to assist coaches in their analysis.

Clubs will also be able to access the iSports Video Analyser, which will have the statistics incorporated to review matches and analyse game vision throughout the season.
