Filming of AFL Cairns Matches 2020

AFL Cairns is seeking expressions of interest for production and filming of the 2020 season.

Here is a brief guide Senior Matches start at 2.30pm, when games are played in Port Douglas, they start at 2.00pm on Saturdays. Not all matches are played on Saturdays. Each match goes for approximately two hours forty-five minutes. Reserves match goes for two hours.  Women’s match goes for one and a half hours.

Outline:

Must be available on weekends from March until September 2020 including some Friday nights and a few Sunday matches throughout the Season.

Have the capacity to film up to four matches at one time.

Must have capabilities to Livestream footage.

Must have capabilities to Livestream to AFL Cairns Youtube Channel.

Must have capabilities to dual Livestream to Facebook.

Must be able to provide commentary equipment for up to three people.

It is a requirement that all matches filmed be delivered to AFL Cairns by 12.00pm the Monday after the Round for the Match Review Panel.

Travel from Port Douglas to Gordonvale required.

Must have current Public Liability Insurance and workplace safety methods in place.

Must be available Good Friday, Cairns Show Day & Anzac Day.

What we need – Filming Matches in the 2020 Season

Regular Fixture:

Film all matches 19 Rounds x 3 matches Total = 57 throughout Season 2020.

Finals:

Film Semi Finals (2 x matches Seniors), Preliminary Finals (1 x match Seniors) & Grand Finals (3 x matches Seniors, Reserves & Women’s).

Livestream:

Each Senior men’s game played at Cazalys Stadium is Livestreamed.

(in 2019 there were 9 x matches plus 6 finals).

Additional to Agreement:

Also include an additional rate for matches filmed throughout year with and without Livestream for and not limited to:

-Allstars 2 Matches with Livestream

-Stand up against domestic violence round 3 Matches (Women’s)

-Pride Round 3 Matches (Women’s)

-Plus any additional matches required

-AFL Cairns Junior Grand Finals with Livestream (approximately Seven Matches held over two different day/nights)

-Filming Presentation Night with Livestream

What to Supply AFL Cairns:

Supply AFL Cairns the Master Recording of each match on an electronic device.

In addition to the master copy, 3 copies of each match on USB (AFL Cairns to Supply USB’s as it has our logo) will also be produced for AFL Cairns (1 for each competing Club and 1 for Umpires Department) and available by noon on the Monday following the game.

The 3 USB’s plus Master/Tape (master + 3 copies) will be marked on both the cover, with details including:

-Round

-Date

-Venue

-Teams

Provide 10 hours of Technical support to AFL Cairns for footage Preparation, editing & uploading if necessary.

AFL Cairns own the footage and masters and the footage cannot be distributed to third parties without consent from AFL Cairns.

You will receive:

– Logo placement on the Livestream matches.

-Logo placement on AFL Cairns Website

-Fence sign at Cazalys Stadium. Signage production and erection expenses the responsibility of contractor.

-Contractor will receive 6 season passes, including finals, which admit personnel to AFL Cairns matches.

Other Information:

Internet usage at Cazalys Stadium is available. All other grounds the Contractor would have to provide Internet for Livestreaming.

unds AFL Cairns will attempt to provide:

An elevated platform for camera operator to film from.

Electricity to the recording platform where possible.

AFL Cairns to provide a filming brief of what is required.
