New Partnership Supporting Our Veterans

AFL Cairns is excited to announce a new partnership with Legacy in their Centenary Year of Service. Legacy support veteran’s and veterans’ families that are experiencing grief, loss and/or hardship through a range of amazing community services. Over their 100 years of operation, they have provided a significant contribution to those in need, including relieving financial hardship, facilitating social connection, and providing developmental opportunities.

AFL Cairns will honour the new partnership in Round 2 of the 2023 fixture, ‘Legacy Round’, which incorporates the traditional ANZAC Day clash between North Cairns and South Cairns. More information on the work Legacy is doing in the Cairns community and opportunities to donate to this wonderful cause will be made available in the coming weeks.
