PLAYERS from Centrals Trinity Beach Bulldogs AFL Club are giving meaning to their mascot, teaming up with the RSPCA’s Cairns branch for this year’s Million Paws Walk.
More than 25,000 Queenslanders and their pets are expected to put paws to pavement for the May 15 event, which raises much needed funds to keep the RSPCA alive.
Bulldogs coach Dale Hough said his team members were proud to be involved.
“Being a football team, there are a lot of young guys that have dogs and they bring them to training,” Mr Hough said.
“We thought it’d be fitting that we’d be ambassadors for the RSPCA.”
